Fasting for 12 hrs is required before FBS. Fasting is not required for other tests which can be done at anytime of the day.

Complete Urine Examination(CUE): Involves checking appearance, colour, PH, specific gravity, protein, glucose, bile pigments, bile salt, urobilinogen, ketones, blood, leucocytes, nitrites, RBCs, pus cells, epithelial cells, casts, crystals, amorphous deposits
Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS): A basic test to examine your sugar while you haven’t eaten
Post-Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS): A test to measure your sugar levels after a meal
Hemoglobin A1c (Hb1Ac): A test that tells you your average sugar levels over the past 2-3 months
Lipid Profile: Comprises cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, direct LDL, direct VLDL, HDL ratio
Liver Profile : Includes SGOT, SGPT, GGTP, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, protein total with AG ratio, alkaline phosphatase
Creatinine: It tests the functioning of your kidneys
Blood Urea: To evaluate kidney function
Urine for Microalbuminuria: To examine if there is any damage to the kidney
Urine- Protein Creatinine ratio: To detect protein levels
